Common questions.

Quick answers to what homeowners and businesses ask before the consult. Still stuck? Call (817) 308-8648.

How much will my project cost?
It depends on the scope, the materials, and the condition of what you are starting with. We give you a ballpark on the call, then a free fixed number after a site consult, so you get a real figure, not a guess.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. Every project gets a free, fixed quote after a consult. We walk the project, agree on a scope, and put a number in writing. No deposit to get a quote.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Superior Exterior Fencing is a properly licensed and fully insured fencing contractor. We can provide license and insurance certificates on request for submittals.
What fencing work do you take on?
New fence installation, fence repair, gates, and staining, in wood, vinyl, aluminum, and chain link. If you are not sure whether your job fits, call and describe it, and we will tell you straight either way.
How long does a job take?
We give you a realistic window up front, based on the size of the property and its condition, and then we hold to it. You always know where the job stands and what is next.
Will fence installation disrupt my yard or landscaping?
We keep disruption minimal. Post holes and material staging are contained to the fence line, and we clean up daily so your yard stays usable throughout the project.
Do I need a permit for my fence?
Depends on your city and the height/type of fence. We will check what your project needs during the quote, and if a permit applies, we handle the paperwork so it is one less thing on your plate.
What about HOA rules?
Always check with your HOA before installing, especially if you are moving the property line or changing height, like going from a 6' fence to 8'. If everything about the new fence matches what is already there, HOA approval is usually straightforward, but it is always worth getting it in writing first.
What happens to my timeline if the weather turns bad?
We do not install in the rain. Wet ground means ruts in your yard and a messier job, so if rain is in the forecast, we move your install to the next available day rather than push through it.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, we stand behind our workmanship. Ask us for the specifics of our warranty coverage when you get your quote, and even after coverage ends, we will always come back and fix an issue at a low cost to you.
